Is it free to register?
Yes it's free to register for an account.
Why is my account inactive?
New accounts must be activated. Please check your email and spam folder for your activation key. If you've already activated your account once already, please contact us for assistance.
How do I manage account access for my staff?
From your account area you can setup Sub-User Accounts for your staff or other users. You can also set permissions for each user.
How do I change my username?
Usernames are permanent. A new username requires a whole new account.
I forgot my username, how do I reset my password?
We can reset your password by sending a reset link to your email. Please contact us for further assistance.
How do I change my password?
Your password can be changed from your Profile Page.
How do I delete my account?
Here's how: Go to My Account > My Profile. At the end of your porfile page you'll see the delete button. This will permanently delete your account, all files, preferences and info associated with your account. This action can not be undone.
How do I upload my logo and change my company description?
This can all be done right from your Profile Page.
Job Posting
How do I post jobs?
From the My Accounts page, click on "Manage Jobs", then slect a listing option.
How do I upgrade or manage my job listings?
Go to: My Account > Manage Jobs. Find the job listing you wish to manage. You'll see some options below. You can Preview, Edit, Clone, Activate, Deactivate, Delete, or Upgrade your job listing.
How do I import jobs in bulk?
- Go to My Account.
- Click Manage Jobs.
- Click "Bulk job import from exl/csv file".
- Select a listing package.
- First you'll need to download a Job Import template. Whatever your preference, EXL or CSV.
- After you download the template file, open the file and enter in the joblisting info for each job you wish to post.
- When you're done, save the file. You can name the file whatever you want. You're ready to import your jobs in bulk.
- From the Bulk Job Import page, click the Choose File button, find your file and click open.
- Select Import to start the import.
What's a Screening Questionnaire?
A screening questionnaire is a list of questions used to screen applicants. You can create the questions, the answers, and choose the passing score. This is a free service.
What are featured and priority job listings?
Featured job listings are upgraded job listings that are also advertised on our homepage. Priorty job lisitngs are upgraded job listings that are given top priority in job search resulst or average listings.
Can I upload photos with my ad?
Yes. You can upload up to 3 photos.
Can I post business opportunity or work at home ads?
No. Business opps, work at home, or mlm, are not actual jobs. We do not allow these type of ads on LocalJobseek. The job seekers that come to our site are looking for real jobs from companies that are hiring. We only allow job ads for actual wage paying jobs. We review job postings. In the event a job ad is removed due to violation of our terms, a refund will not be given. You can upgrade your listing from your Manage Jobs page.
How do I renew my ad?
To manage your ad please go to your My Jobs page.
Resume Search
How do I get access to the resume database?
You must subscribe to the Resume Database subscription plan. You can do this from your Subscriptions page.
What are resume alerts?
Resume Alerts is a free feature that searches the database for resumes for you and alerts you by email when resumes are posted that meet your search criteria. You can create resume alerts from your Resume Alerts page. You can also setup the frequency of delivery to your email whether you want delivery daily, weekly, or even monthly.
Can I save searches?
Yes. You can save your search from the search results page. You can manage your saved searches from your Saved Searches page.
How do I narrow or increase search results?
Here's how it works, the more preferences you enter into the search form the more narrow your results will be. You'll get the most search results when searching soley by keyword.
How do I get exact results?
On the advance search form, located under the keywords field you can select "match exact phrase", "match all words", etc.
Are RSS feeds available?
Yes. You can either get feeds by clicking on the Feeds link on the navigation bar. Or subscribe to RSS feeds from your saved searches by going to your Saved Searches page and clicking on the RSS icon.

How does the Application Tracking feature work?
It's a feature that enables you to accept, reject, and track applications to your jobs.
Subscription Plans
How do I add another subscription plan?
You can do this from your Subscriptions page.
Notifications
How do I turn modify or turn off notifications that are being sent to my email?
You can do it from your Notifications page.
Billing
On my Billing History page I see transactions that are pending. How do I complete those transactions?
Near each transaction under "Actions" is a link to complete the transaction.
How do I delete transactions from my Billing History?
Old billing history is purged automically by the system.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.
